Client experiences

Hello and with respect, thank you very much for the efforts of Dr. Davvand. I came to see her for couples relationship counseling and severe anxiety after my marriage. Through the helpful exercises and guidance she provided, she helped me reach a deeper inner awareness, and it had a very positive impact on improving my mood. Thank you very much for your kind efforts, Dr. Davvand.

I’m a teenage girl who came to see her for my inner struggles. I’m very happy to have gotten to know Mrs. Davand. She helped me a lot in dealing with my problems and changed my perspective on life and the future.

I was very satisfied with their counselor’s sessions; they were productive and created deep insights in me. They brought me face to face with myself. I’m truly grateful to dear Ms. Davand.

In my relationships with others, especially at work, I had difficulties. During the treatment process, deep changes occurred in how I related to myself, my work, and those around me.

Frequently asked questions

Are psychotherapy sessions right for me?
If you feel that something in your life has been causing distress, anxiety, confusion, or repeated patterns of unhelpful behavior—and you can’t manage it on your own—psychotherapy can help. In the first session, we’ll talk about your concerns and circumstances, and together we’ll explore whether treatment—and what type of approach—would be the best fit for you. You don’t necessarily have to feel “very bad” to benefit from therapy; sometimes the desire to understand yourself better and improve the quality of your life is enough reason to begin.
Is psychotherapy suitable for me?
If you feel that something in your life has caused distress, anxiety, confusion, or recurring patterns that are unpleasant—and you can’t manage it on your own—psychotherapy can help you. In the first session, we will talk about your concerns and circumstances, and together we will explore whether treatment and what type of approach would be more suitable for you. You don’t have to feel “very bad” in order to get help from therapy; sometimes the desire to better understand yourself and improve the quality of your life is enough reason to begin.
How are they conducted, and how long does each session take?
Therapy sessions are held in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment, giving you in each session the opportunity to talk about the thoughts, feelings, and challenges you are experiencing. Each session typically lasts 45 minutes, and the number and spacing of sessions are determined based on your circumstances, needs, and the course of your treatment. In the first session, in addition to getting acquainted and identifying the issue, we also discuss the goals of therapy and the path ahead.
How many psychotherapy sessions do I need?
The number of sessions for each person is different, and we cannot determine a specific number in advance for everyone. In the initial sessions, we review your topics and goals, and based on your circumstances and progress, we decide how to continue. Sometimes a few sessions are enough for a specific issue, and sometimes deeper changes require a longer treatment process. The most important thing is that the treatment plan moves forward in line with your needs.
How can I book an appointment for a consultation session?
To schedule a session, you can contact me via the page’s Direct message. After I receive your message, I will coordinate with you on suitable times and the information needed to begin the session. If you have any questions or doubts about starting therapy or choosing the type of session, you can bring them up with me before booking so you can make a more informed decision.
